I agree with just about everything you said, Laura; and I felt like I should stand and salute after reading those last couple of sentences.

Personally, I feel a bit disenchanted with the site lately. I can see where it is going and I think the site will lose some of its flavor in doing so. There are those who would like this to be a place such as it was a year or two ago (more tolerence for subject matter). Then there are others who see this as strictly a tool for sharing information on Vipers - nothing else should be allowed. More of a BUSINESS ONLY site rather than a PLEASURE board.

Instead of a site that I checked on a regular basis, I expect the site will become more of a reference tool that I use when I am looking for something specific, but not a place where I hang my hat and shoot the breeze with others. The site will continue to be a valuable resource for those seeking help with or information about Dodge Vipers - but it remains to see how the new rules will effect casual (or lively) discussions.

However, the banned do not want to come back, so I doubt they care one way or another. Although many still lurk and take the subjects to their site for discussion, I dont see this site getting back to the way it was. Indeed, some of the banned burned enough bridges that I doubt they would be allowed back. A shame, too; because everyone went a bit overboard.
