Default Re: Brake rotors/Brake pads

I am pretty sure that the rotors can be removed without removing the calipers. No torqueing (other than the lug nuts) to be done. The Viper is the easiest front brake job you can find. No bolts to remove (except lug nuts), no wheel bearing to re-pack, just a couple of pins to remove.

Thats a big negative on most of your advice. The calipers do need to be removed for the front rotors, not the rears. So the caliper bolts will need to be retorqued and good luck on that with the amount of clearance and interference of other components. This is not that simple for a first timer, there are many combinations of tools to use which will make the job done easiest. One stubby 19mm 6 pt socket and torque wrench won't be that easy.
