It's a small red/black (maybe other colors too) about the size of 3 packs of cigarettes. Weighs a few pounds. Would fit in a glove box. It usually comes with both a set of small +/- clips for temporary hook up, and a more permenant pigtail that can be put on terminals and can quickly and easily plug in the unit.
I have seen them at Wal-mart, K-Mart etc.
Believe it is made my Schumacher.
It's great to have around. Also hook it to the electric start lawn mower or snowblower or motorcycle when they are not going to be used for a while.
