Fine with me. It would save a chunk of $$$ too, that could be used to pay the jurors for sitting through the [******].

Now that I recall, I sat in on a mock jury for $100. Lawyers have those sometimes to get a feel for what they should emphasize in court. Seems to me I got a phone call or something in the mail asking if I would like to participate so I have to assume that it was pretty much an indiscriminate cross section of people. Of the 12 or 15 of us I'd say two-thirds were boneheads.
In remembering this, I don't think the pick 'em and force 'em method would result in much better jurors. Still might be good though, it would expedite the process.
