Re: INNOVATE LC-1 to Vec set-up question
Plum, both.
Grcforce's comments (astonishing that the asylum gives him this much keyboard time) are in reference to where to send the signals from your LC-1 into your VEC. The terms "master" or "slave" refer to the two large black electrical connectors found on the back of your VEC. The bottom connector is the "master", the top the "Slave" (Roe will scrath a "M" and an "S" on them). Now they must have upped Grc's doses again as one would use "in" pin locations to get the signal from your LC-1 into the VEC not "out" pin locations. The VECs master and slave pins "out" locations send data out to other devices, example Master pin location #6, PWM 1 out, sends a signal to activate a water/meth pump.
The two most common pin locations to run LC-1 (s) into a Vec are:
Master (bottom) connector, pin location #8 "Analog 2 in"
Master (bottom) connector, pin location #10 "Analog 1 in"
I run a single wideband (see Illustrated Guides) and use Master pin #8. Works perfectly.
Now if by chance Grc is talking about the Analog software set-up in the Innovate "LM Programmer" software (used to setup the LC-1's to properly address the VEC)..well here you are running two independant LC-1's so using your using your laptop to address them individually. One plugs first into the driver side LC-1 using the 2.5mm stereo (female) connector marked "IN" and you can go to the analog output tab and set it up. Unplug your laptop from the driverside connector and now plug i into your second LC-1. Any questions, just PM me. GRc, you keep this up and I'm giving Night Nurse Helga your room key.
