Stock rear gear ratios. It would seem the 3.07 is used for optimal fuel economy, but many here feel that shorter gears, e.g. 3.33 or 3.55, provide better street drivability and performance. Is there other performance rationale for the 3.07 ratio that has been overlooked?

We strive to get the best balance between performance and economy. Remember we have to maximize performance on the EPA test cycle because that can mean $ in your pocket...of course 1/4mile is where it's at for us.......
