Because magazines have to pay their employees as well. If you paid them enough money, they'd showcase your company's car and if you pay them "enough" money; They'll probably tell the world that even though it's not quite as fast, it's still a better buy than a viper

It's all about the dough.
Next time you read a comparison article, I'd check the full-page advertisements to the front and rear of it as well...
