There is no reason to hope she is wrong (misinformed would be more corrrect), as the price will be well under $1K a person. I don't know that the pricing or the schedules have been finalized, but expect they will be shortly. Would a Cedar Rapids guy lie to you?

The cart before the horse: Unless we truly show up in masses and
clearly demonstrate our love for the car, then you can probably write the Viper's epitaph. We need to sell this one out and quit whining about "ads" for other vehicles - that is how they can justify the Viper program. Or you could go to the Corvette Owners Invitational that Chevy spends millions to host. Oh that's right - they don't.
As for Vegas vs. Detroit, the VOI's are all about sharing good times with both old and new Viper friends. Some like to gamble, while others like the automotive aspect of it. This will be the best VOI yet and there is not a better place to host it on this planet if you are a true "car guy" (or gal). Start thinking about the birthplace of the car and truly embracing everything Viper.
