Around a road course the ACR will walk all over the ZR1 no way a magneto suspension is going to stay with a full race suspension. I think you have to give credit to Dodge for building a car like the ACR.
I like the ZR1 Chevy has done a good job with it I've owned many vettes and some day will probably have a ZR1, But if your talking street "Presence" my 08SSG gets 10 times more attention then my C6Z.
I am not debating which one looks better and gets more attention, I agree with you about their looks thats one of the reasons I bought an ACR, but it was more than that for me as I want something I can go to the track with and perform well. I don't really care about street presence whatever that is? I guess you could say my Ford Gt has the street presence your talking about, and to most people except the extremely biased the regular Viper has a better look than even the ZR1 and will definately attract more attention than any Vette and if thats what your looking for by all means I would buy a Viper. But for me I don't care how they test off the showroom floor because when I get to the track the racers will have race tires on them and then you will have a more realistic view of a said cars potential, especically one putting out the HP of the ZR1. I was never one for magazine racing anyway because its usually not very reliable in the real world. I race fairly often and for me personally I wouldn't campaign a S/C car as I think they heat soak bad and lose alot of power as they get hot. I think the ACR is basically a race car you can take on the street occasionally and the ZR1 will be a street car that you can take on the track occasionally IMO. Also I haven't read any head to head tests with a ZR1 against anything, have you?
