AL/TN June Event

It's time to head to the Mountains again. Here's some of the info we've got so far:

Friday 6th: Meet at 11:00 for lunch at Cracker Barrel I-40, exit #373 Campbell station Rd(Farragut) west of K'ville. We'll leave there and drive the Tail of the Dragon. (you get the idea). Then we'll take some back roads to host Hotel(Grand Resort-Pigeon Forge) for check-in.
Dinner: tbd

Sat 7th: Cruise to Clingman's Dome (Highest Point in Tenn.6643 ft) for breathtaking views, pics, oohs and awe's :-)
Dinner: tbd

$71.00/night. breakfast buffet is $6.00.

add'l itinerary will be finalized shortly. But I'm sure it'll include something for everybody.

I'm 100% there!! Finally an event close to east tn!! Can't wait to run the dragon with the Vipers!!

Probably. They seem to be real accomodating and "easy" to work with. Just got off the phone with Chad. He's got some GA members that want to join us also. Last year we had 15 cars. Who knows how many will show up this year. 20+?

I think I am the only one down here in LA(Lower Alabama ) and usually have to go play with the Florida members if I want company. Is it possible to post a link to this thread in the RT/10 discussion or in any of the Florida areas. We just don't get enough traffic for everyone to see what a great weekend this will be.

I am heading up on Thursday and staying thru Sunday. Looking forward to this for sure

99 R/T10, are you staying at the Grand Thursday night? I took off Friday and might just head up there on Thursday if there's going to be someone else there.

I didn't put Thursday in the hotel contract, but I'm pretty sure the rate for that day is $59.00. (for those of you that include Thurs. night in your stay). You might want to let the reservations clerk know.
