IL VCA Hosted Drag, Autocross, and Road Course Event
June 6 & 7



I wanted to invite everyone to our Longest Day event. Might even be a good rendezvous for us. It’s a performance driving event we host each year that combines drag, autocross, and road course racing all in one weekend! It’s one of our more popular driving events given the diversity. The event is broken into two days, Day 1 is Putnam Park & Day 2 is the US41 Drag and Autocross. Generally we complete Day 1 at Putnam and then caravan together to the next location. Usually lots of fun. And, you are free to come for either day or attend both.



We strive to create a great experience while running our event in a formal manner to ensure value for our members and make it truly enjoyable for everyone. The entire event is open to everyone from rookie to expert driver. We even provide training and instruction at all events, so we encourage this to newer drivers as a great time to learn and experience all the driving disciplines in one shot. Of course we also cater to our many expert drivers who are free to compete for some great class awards and the overall Longest Day Champion spot. It’s all up to you.

The costs are: Day 1 is $280, Day 2 is $150. For what you get, it’s bargain. We are going to cap this event at 45 spots. It’s only open to Vipers and Viper club members. We’ll surely sell out, we always do.
