Default Laguna Seca, Jan. 13-14

Anybody want to go? This is through the Touring Car Club, great group. They do a Time trial format with three experience levels and also a race. The cost is $235 for both days. Also look at their website for info or e-mail me. www.touringcarclub.com

A few of us will be there. This track is AWESOME! The club will have a beginer group with classroom instruction and instructors are available at no additional charge.

Oh yeah, Mumford and Adelberg will provide classroom smack talking sessions.

I may be there on Sunday with a few of my Mustang customers. I'll stop by and introduce myself to the Viper owners who I haven't met yet.
If you're going to attend the Laguna event, please let me know your car year/color/number so I can say hi!

Anyone solved the 90 db limit yet? TCC might not have the restrictions for the race group though. With a Borla catback, I had to go to 5th and get off the gas before the sound booth. Because it is uphill, at some point, I have to give it some gas to make it past the sound booth. If I keep it under 2000 rpm at 5th then I don't go over 90db. I got black flagged 3 times and was officially kicked out of the track until I used my persuasive charms and resorted to this method. With a roving or remote db meter, I would be royally screwed.

I have gone with three people with the Borla Cat-back systems. Only one had a problem. I guess its a hit or miss deal. Try exiting turn 5 faster and be at a higher RPM by the meter. Just kidding. I hope my new car doesn't have trouble, but I will most likely be in the race. The would be a great exemption.
