Default Viper Plant Tour

Just got back from my first Viper plant tour. All I can say is wow! Dodge has created an amazing automobile. I appreciate my car more now that I have seen the care that goes into building these vechiles. There were several 2003's in the plant but we were not allowed to peak. Thanks to the Ohio Viper Club for organizing this event.

As a small business owner, I know first hand the power of
communication with the customer.Word of mouth is an incredible tool. You would not believe the people that will go out of their way to tell someone about a bad experience, while a very small percentage will voluntarily share their positive experiences with others. I've had exactly zero contact with HMS except for the articles in Car & Driver. I see plenty of positive comments about his products, and for the first time I am seeing a lot of hostility. Sounds to me like the talent has been applied at the product end, and the PR has taken a secondary priority.
Kinda takes all the fun away, doesn't it John ?

I'm going back hopefully for my second CAAP tour end of May, I'm hoping that the engine plant will be there by then too. That I would also love to see. I'll also be visiting with empty suitcases, there's some great Viper goodies in the CAAP shop!

The people at the existing engine plant (which we also visited) told us that they are getting ready to move the engine line into the Conner Rd. facility at the end of April. If you take the tour in a month you will get to see them both under one roof.

I was amazed to see that the engines were put together totally by hand, unlike the other engines at the same plant.
