My buddy just traded his 2001 GTS for a Noble.I must concur with his trade the Noble is a sickkkkk machine .He forced me
to test drive it before he would buy it and damn it drives well.I never thought I would say it but that would be one car I would have to think long and hard about trading the Viper in for.Cant wait to race him on the track and really see what its performance potential is. |

send him here, the UK's biggest Noble forum:
http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/f...p?f=26&h=0 lots of info to be gained they been about a number of years the factory is just 20 mins from my house, they are a pretty radical car and the factory service/back up the owners receive is unbelievable, in the UK at least did you know the whole bodywork is built in South Africa ! |

Which model did he get? Great cars, though I'm more partial to the Moslers, and also rather the LS1/LS2 based GM engines. http://www.moslerauto.com/ |

Isnt Noble the one that was tested against on that British tv show? And even their ultimate model could not keep up with the viper in any way?

yep, it was one our club members Graham, he saw 180mph on the speedo down the straight there's no way that particular noble could live with that sort of speed, even the noble driver admitted open mouthed in awe he couldnt believe how simply the stock GTS pulled away from him....

The Noble is cool and is probably very quick on a road course, but it is no Viper Slayer. Perhaps there are faster ones now. The Ultima however sounds awesome and really hauls tail.
Take a look at the 2004 NORC One Mile Drag Race Results and see how a couple of these cars stacked up against our snakes. One Mile Shootout |

Thats is very cool but its not a road course .I dont know how it can't beat a Viper ...Better brakes,2250lbs,better power to weight and it pulls 1.1 something G's on the skid pad............don't get me wrong I am as loyal to my ACR as anyone and thats why I did the Post this is the only car at a very reasonable price (80,000) that I would ever consider buying over a Viper

Yes, the Noble M12 (and especially M14) will smoke a stock Viper at the road course.
Now a highly-modified GTS, I will see soon (new blue M12 in town- can't wait to run him at MSR)... |
