I was talking to a guy that bought a 360 Modena about three years after they first came out, and he told me he paid $320k for it. Dumbass

depending on options $80-100k over msrp is the going rate for a 430 spider. They are ALL sold out for the next couple years so unless you owned a ferrari and pre-ordered one already this is the only way to get one.
Is it worth that much, I would say so as people are having no problem selling them . |

Perfect Modena Coupes a with 0-6,000 miles can be bought in the $130,000 range all over, sometimes even a little lower. If you really want to play this game, you buy one like this from a dealer and part of the deal is that you negotiate a place on the list for MSRP for the next model, in this case the 430. You will wait a year or so, trade your 360 in for close to what you paid if you kept the miles low and drive away with the new 430 at msrp. Then potentially you could flip for the kind of money being talked about. The only flaw in the logic is that you will only flip once. Not that many cars come into the country and the dealers are watching them all. Buy from them at MSRP and then profit youself and you will be blackballed from the new car list by all of them. They are pretty good at this.

Must be nice to have THAT much control over the sale of your product.

And WE think we have Viper tax! Check this out. And they thought it was a good deal. I love the comment from the guy who said..."How much was the rape?"
