| Driven Cars, trucks, cycles, whether we drive or fly it, we enjoy all vehicles. If it is not a Viper, this is the forum to discuss them. |

...without my Viper
I know this belongs in Driven, but only because my snake is in the shop getting the body worked on after an unfortunate accident. I get on the freeway today and right behind me on the onramp was a black F430. "Sweet" I thought. I tried to merge and look in my sideview... a Vader-Black Mosler! WOW! The F430 virtually disappeared... I'm sure the owner was hating every minute of it too. The Mosler is so awesome, I can't say it enough times. Made me feel like the first time I saw a Viper. It's also a driver's car with no nannytech either, I think. Anyone here had experience in one? I'm never giving up my snake, but I wouldn't mind a Mosler on the lift. http://www.moslerauto.com/ |

The Viper is a real car.Mosler a kit car.Which do you think will function more reliably on a daily basis? That being said,If its only going to be an occasional use toy then why not go for it.I don't know enough about them to know if they are a throw away or not or have any resale value? If it doesn't matter to you then go for it.My HUMBLE guess is that a Viper,F car or any real car will lose less value than a mosler.Yeah the original Cobra was a kit car but a mosler is no cobra. When I lived in West Palm I would see some coming out of the factory in Riviera Beach. They also would bring them out to Moroso Motorsports Park once in a while. Those cars look and sound awesome, but the interiors are a little rough looking.

I remember reading a lot about these in car and driver when they were first trying to become street leagal. These are truly supposed to be barely legal race cars. no focus on interior, just built for speed.

I had a black one pull up next to me about a year ago as I was driving down the highway. They're definitely cool looking cars. VERY low and wide. Sounded damn good too. After cruising for a few minutes the guy gun'd it and took off like a bat outta hell.
