Been for a ride in a few juiced cars in the past. I don't get the interest in the momentary effect. Forced induction or a strong engine build just seem so much more enjoyable.

That aside, I wonder what the glitch was with this guy's C6 to cause the blow out. No fun.

There was a decent explanation posted in the comments as a reply to someone stating that it was due to using a wet shot at too low rpms:

Actually, the most common cause of a Nitrous backfire.. Is - when using a wet style shot - the nitrous/fuel mixture puddling up in the intake manifold, and then combusting. Using too much nitrous at too low of an RPM will just damage the motor, not cause a backfire. And yes, it does actually have something to do with the fact that it's a Chevy if he was using a wet shot. If you ever look inside of an LS-series motor's intake manifold, you can see how it's not really designed for flowing liquids like a wet nitrous shot, there's plenty of places for the mixture to get caught up and puddle.
