2008 viper computer problem

My 2008 viper put out 508 HP on a dyno jet, this is a very low number for the 2008 viper, the computer is retarding the timing and going very rich around 4500 rpm the car is down about 40 to 50 HP 10 parts air to gas should be around 12 or 13 because of the problem with the computer i have contacted dodge and waiting for the fix. new computer or reflash computer. i would have never known about the problem if i had not ran the car on a dyno. Even down on power the car is fast. i am sure i am not the only 2008 viper owner with this computer problem. if you have an 08 have it dyno'd you may be way down on power and not even know if any one has had this problem let me know thanks

Post this on the SRT-10 GEN 3-4 above, you will get a better response. Hopefully, the woodhouse team will chime in.

The 2008 model is very heat sensitive. If the car was tested heat soaked then these numbers may be accurate. Cool with airflow on the dyno it may make more. They run these cars rich to make the converters last for the warranty period (7yrs or 70,000 miles as mandated by federal law).
