Default A/F readout guage

Can a A/F sensor be installed in place of one of the 02 sensors on a 97gts with a guage to provide a A/f readout. I am looking for a quick test of my A/F ratio without going to a dyno. I am not interested in logging etc at this time, just want to check my a/f ration at high rpm.

You can buy a A/F gauge which enables you to tap into the exiting upstream O2 sensor. It will give you an idea of what is going on at full throttle, but not a very good one.
