I watch vids of you guys lighting up the rear tires, but you are not moving an inch forward.
How do you do that? Mike |

You keep your foot on the brake, or you install a linelock. Both ways work, the linelock is just a lot more efficient since you don't have the power of the engine overriding your rear brakes. I linelock locks your front brakes only, allowing your rear wheels to spin without the rear brakes on. See?

Mike, be sure to do the standing wheel spin thing often.
It's a sure way to show people that you are really smart. It's good for the brakes, tires and clutch. Everyone will be impressed at your car handling ability and judgement. |

Oh, I forgot,
You are going to need a big wing on the back, And some real baggy pants, Oh, and wear your ball cap crooked, and have an amp and speakers that are louder than WW2. Yeah, that's the ticket. |

I saw how to do it on a movie. run a chain from you rear control arm to any immobile object (tree, telephone pole) Then just gun it! I have extra control arms just for doing burnouts.

If you had studded tires it would probably do burnouts with sparks at night.
By the way, I thought that burnouts were only impressive for cars that one wouldn't expect to be doing them. A Focus doing a big burnout will make some kids jump and dance. Wouldn't everyone assume that a Viper's problem would be in not doing a burnout? |
