Default Detroit

Well, I went to Michigan this past week and really enjoyed it. I only had one day off, and as suggested by some members, I went to the Henry Ford Museum as well as the Chrysler Museum. The Henry Ford was an amazing place, with all kinds of cars and mechanical history. The Chrysler Museum was beautiful and had some amazing prototype cars, as well as many significant models. The museum has three floors, with the lower floor called the garage. The garage has some great race cars, including the LeMans winning GTSR. They have a computer set up with the sounds and the vibrations of all the cars in the garage, the GTSR sounds unbelievable!

One of the most noticeable things in Detroit was the lack of foreign cars. It was actually really refreshing to see American cars all over the place. It was also very sad to realize that so many workers have lost their jobs in the state that started the industrial revolution.
