08' Christmas party plans

I'm glad to announce all the plans for the 2008 Christmas party have finally been confirmed and finalized. This year will be a little different as the activities will be stretched out over two days. Here's the schedule:

Saturday, December 6: at 10:45am we will meet at Malibu Grand Prix in Norcross, GA. From 11am-3pm, we will have unlimited gocart rides, grandprix rides, putt-putt golf and 18 tokens for the arcade games. Malibu's website (with directions and contact info) is located at: Malibu Grand Prix . For those who bring a new unwrapped toy to the party (to be donated to a Atlanta area children's hospital), the GA-VCA is covering all costs of this event. For those who do not bring a toy, the "cover charge" will be $20/person (which will also be donated to the children's hospital). Each person attending is asked to bring a toy. While we are at Malibu, we will take some time and do our club "white elephant" gift exchange. Participation in this is NOT required. For those wanting to participate, bring a WRAPPED gift (item can be "real" or a "gag" gift!) for a random GA-VCA member. Directions of how to play will be explained at the party. Just to sum up, an unwrapped toy per person attending for a child (or $20 cash/person) IS required. Participation in the club "white elephant" gift exchange (bring a wrapped gift--"real" or "gag") is NOT required. We will have reserved parking for the Vipers at the arcade.

Sunday, December 7th: We will meet at Fado's Atlanta for dinner at 5:00pm (meet at 5pm, eat at 5:30pm). Fado's website is located at Fado Atlanta - Fado Irish Pub and Restaurant Atlanta, fado, irish pub, irish pubs, Guinness . We will have reserved parking at the restaurant.
