Pics from the Cops and Rodders carshow!
This Saturday we were lucky enough to have a police escort to the Cops and Rodders carshow that is held by the Atlanta Police Dept. each year to benefit the Special Olympics. Unlike most boring police escorts, we get to go at high speed through downtown Atlanta! The fastest speed I heard was from an 08' who hit 140mph! A BIG thanks to the police officer who helps set this up every year and lets us have a little fun getting to the show while he moves everyone out of the way for us!! We ended up with 16 Vipers, 2 Ford GTs, and a Prowler owned by GA-VCA members who attended the show. One of the GT's won 1st place in its class and the Viper club won the "Best car club participation" award!
On the bridge waiting for the police escort car to show up:        On the way to the show...at 120+ mph! You can see the escort at the front of the line with his lights on to get people out of the way       Everyone made it in one piece and no speeding tickets, thanks to our escort!   The two coolest Vipers ever!         One of the few cop cars that may be able to catch a Viper!  Me being very brave:

Ben's car looks incredible in person. I never could make a decision on the color and it really stands out. The color and areo pkge on his car is enough to make me consider a vert,it's that stunning!

Bens purple car is beautiful. I loved the ACR with aero---WOW!!! First one I've seen in person. If 09 is the last production year for us, I'm buying one even if I can't afford food.
