Default \"Cosmetic\" question for the \'Gurus\'!

Good morning. Although it's a cosmetic question, it's still making me crazy! Can someone tell me why the wheels on my 2000 seem to be getting dull inbetween each spoke area. I know that these wheels have a type of clear coat on them. So I have been using the proper wheel polish (a Zaino product), but I continue to notice them dulling? Any suggestions? Do you think a Noxon type of cleaner would harm the finish? Thanks in advance for any advice.
Have a wonderful day.
Laura

It's more than likely from the brake dust. Jon B??????

Do not use any type of abrasive cleaner or metal polish. These will damage the clearcoat. What I use s the Zaino car wash, and Zaino #5. I have found that the Zaino polishes need to be left on for 30 minutes to work best. My 2000 GTS wheels look like mirrors. I also use a car duster between washings. Of course, use a duster dedicated to the wheels.
