Amarillo Road Trip, June 22-24

NM members,

Our Amarillo road trip will be upon us soon. The details below give you an idea of what George and Jane have planned for us, and the associated costs. We can pick and choose events when we get there- there's no need to do them all if we don't want to.


Here is a cost estimate for the event.

Hotel - $180 for two nights incl tax and breakfast
Big Texan dinner 50 for two - could be less
Entrance to Palo Duro Canyon 8 for two
Texas Play and Supper 60 for two - 30 each
Cowboy Morning 40 for two
Amer Quarter Horse Museum 8 for two

approx $350 not counting gas and incidentals.

We will most likely leave late afternoon Friday, and return by early Sunday evening.

Here's a minor change as of 5/23/07:

Have eliminated the Cowboy Morning deal. Roads to each of the venues are NOT for Vipers. So we will eat at the hotel both mornings (free) - we will add a cruise up to Boys' Ranch instead.

Shall we cancel it and have a meeting at Owl Cafe in June instead ?

I'm working on that as a backup if we can't get 4 Vipers to commit to AMA.
