Default SRT-10 and VCC Belanger Headers

With the upcoming debut of another brand of SRT headers available relativeley soon, Lou Belanger asked me to post their HP results and claims for the SRT / VCC. As you may know, this header was initially designed and built with the full cooperation of PVO.

Best Dyno on a stock VCC was the Mccann Racing VCC at +64 RWHP. This car is of course catless, non-streetable exhaust, and programmable computer. Belanger has also dynoed several VCCs at +55 to + 60 HP to the rear wheels.

Many, many dozens of complete SRT-10 systems have dynoed at +40 ~ +46 HP at the rear wheels, and +TQ figures above +50 gained. We have had 3 SRT-10 installed here at home and 11 elsewhere and found consistent figs except one VALVE JOB '03 car was initially less. We also have 3 VCCs that are around +55 HP at the rears.

During the PVO testing phase, Arrow racing (supposedly) tested 2 other brands for PVO and found they made less than HALF the HP and TQ of the Belangers.

The Belanger SRT-10 system runs 110-125 degrees cooler in the sill area. Includes fully-coated inside and out headers and hardware, new O-2 senors PVO-engineered, (No CEL lights,) HF cats, cat-back exhaust with or without crossover. Choice of mufflers mild-wild. No Vaporware, but in-stock and cool-runing fully coated. Lighter than stainles.

Well under $3795 complete as described.

Default Re: SRT-10 and VCC Belanger Headers

Belanger just reminded me that World Challenge already allows Comp Coupe owners to run Belanger Headers ...... and D-C apparently just placed another order of 5 sets. + 45--55 HP, SRT-10--Comp Coupe.

Prefer B+B? As with all Viper Parts, Please check PartsRack prices on B+B as well. I admit to having less hands-on experience with B+B, (2 weeks old) so we have to make it up by offering the most competitive prices.

JonB,

You mentioned that there has been experience with these headers on a 2003 Valve issue car.

Can you give me some further details about the dyno figures being "initially less" on this car. I have a 2003 Valve Job viper and am interested in the headers. Were these headers placed after the valve job was completed? What were the actual figures and how much less of a gain was there?

Thanks,

Austin

We had a very early set of headers installed when the '03 valve-issue occurred.

The pre-valve job figs were irrelevant at 375 rwhp BEFORE.

My SRT-10 with K&N Dyno'd at 455 RW and 470 HP with Belanger exhaust and headers added. If I am adding correctly that is 15 HP gain. Am I missing something?

Jerry -For what its worth my 04 with 1800 miles on it.RW HP-469- RW Torque 495. Mods Belanger headers,hi-flow cats exhaust, green filters. Even better for me was my 01 bumblebee went from 426 to 442 rwhp with no additional mods except 10,000 more miles on her. Forgot on the 04 took off the crossover pipe. Loud but thats the way I like it.
