Viper Club Event - Driving the Dragon!

Summertime is nearly here, and so it's Viper driving time!

The Alabama/Tennessee Viper Club is coordinating a drive on the Tail of the Dragon at the Tennessee - North Carolina border! (For those of you not familiar with the Tail of the Dragon, check out: http://www.tailofthedragon.com/ - 318 curves in 11 miles!) Members from their club, Georgia region, and elsewhere will be attending! Just last year, they had 15 Vipers from their region, and this year Georgia is expecting 10 Vipers in addition, so it should be big!

The outline of the event schedule is as follows:
Friday June 6th:
- 11:00 a.m., meet for lunch at Cracker Barrel I-40, Exit #373 Campbell Station Rd (Farragut), just west of Knoxville, TN
- Drive the Tail of the Dragon
- Go to host Hotel (Grand Resort - Pigeon Forge, details below) for check-in
- Dinner, TBD

Saturday June 7th:
- Cruise to Clingman's Dome (Highest Point in Tennesee. 6643 ft) for breathtaking views!
- Dinner, TBD

This is the 4th year in a row we've (AL/TN) done this. Thanks for posting. It seems like we've always had conflicting schedules and never been able to combine this event with our "regional neighbors". Looks like this year is finally gonna work out! For those of you that are not going to be able to meet us at Cracker Barrel, we should be at Deals Gap around 2:00?. And we'll be driving back up the Dragon to Foothills Pkwy in to Pigeon Forge. Stay tuned to forums (there's about 5 threads on this) as more info unfolds.
