Sheyster,
Check with Sean Roe, he said he could do it easily. Steve |

Your Viper fan control options are:
- Manual on-off switch. - Automatic on-off fan control with engine running and after shutdown at 200 on - 180 off. - Automatic on-off fan control after engine shutdown, 200 on - 180 off. All include correct length wiring harness, correct sized wiring with relay and fuse, photo installation instructions and all necessary components. We even make them for C5's now ![]() |

Sheyster,
I have the automatic on off Roe Fan Controller. I seems to work great and matches all the factory harnesses so it doesn't look out of place. Steve |

180 deg. off with the engine running? Doesn't that mean that the fan runs constantly with the engine on?

Hi Joe, We use that kit style on the cars where people have installed a 180 degree thermostat in the engine and want their fan to come on earlier than stock. The fan kit temperature sensor has a heat sink attached which cools it faster than the engine when the fan is on, so that the fan cycles off faster. The 180 /200 degree figures are at the fan kit temperature sensor switch mounting location and the engine coolant gauge will indicate about 10 degrees higher. The manual switch kit is $59.95. I don't advertise them and generally make them if someone asks for one. Maybe I should add them onto the website. Roe Racing Website P.S. My '96 GTS with stock radiator, duct kit and 180 degree thermostat runs at the line below all three over the 190 on the stock gauge (182 actual) and never gets past the three marks over 190 on the street. It gets up to the 3/4 (220 degree) mark on the track when running hard. Any hotter and I'd put in a Fluidyne radiator. |
