Eventually I want a cover for the door sill area - either carbon fiber or a high polish metal (aluminum, stainless, etc.). What are my options? The Hennessey carbon fiber sills look good but I can't justify the $800.00 price tag. Same goes for the Viper Trim ( http://www.vipertrim.com ) stainless steel sill covers - look great - but very pricey at over $1000.00. Please post any pics you have. I really want a sill cover that goes over the vertical and horizontal parts of the sill. Thanks, Anthony |

I too would recommend the sill plates from MGW. They look great, fit well, and protect the area where your feet...or your passenger's feet might drag over the sill.

Only the HMS hockey stick goes all the way up. Autoform makes a short-rise hockey stick.....Carbon Look ($425) Most of the others are flat only....... MGW, ZAF. We also have a flat carbon-only at $300/pr. ZAf and MGW have nice engraving, and/or color options |

Anthony,
I dealt with JonB on the doorsill covers for my '01 GTS. Jon ended up getting me the HMS covers and (since I already had the MGW caps) I installed the MGW caps over the Carbon Fiber covers and they do look good. I also saw some of the others that JonB carries and they were nice too...just didn't go all the way up the door panel..which I wanted. Hope this helps, CStegall |

CStegall,
Thanks for the info. Do you have any pics? Are your MGW caps plain or do they have any yellow on them? I am really wanting the full sill covered like yours - just too pricey right now. Can you e-mail what you paid? Thanks, Anthony |

Here you go....
A nice thing about these covers is the fact that they are not glued on... http://www.mgwltd.com/viper_sillplates.html |
