I am selling my 1998 Solid RED GTS with 4310 miles on it and an extended warranty good till Nov 2006 and have dropped the price to 55k. Does this sound reasonable? Any input?

I would say that it is priced to sell.

I'm very interested in '98 GTS prices, owning one myself (until recently).
Back in September, I was told that a clean, low mileage, silver (more desirable) GTS simply "did not sell in the 60's", no matter if it had stripes, etc. I was told that mid 50's would be a good price to get for a clean, low mile silver GTS back *then*. I think $55k is a good starting point right now - but I hate to say it, I don't think you'd get that for the car in this market. Might be closer to the $50k range. |

I think $55K is a good price. But it is still Feb. so be ready for offers at $50k for this time and economic situation. Come April, $55k should be right on!!

I saw a 99 R/T go on Ebay for $45K, couldn't believe it. I wish I had the cash for that one. Also it had a TNT package with it. This economy sucks.

I paid $53,000 in november of 2001. If i remember correctly he was asking $59,900 My car had 8,000 miles so i think you have a fair price. If i was still looking i would be interested, but who knows with the economy right now, not many people splurging on super nice auto's

Good price. It seems like Vipers in my area (Atlanta) are over priced. However, your price would be attractive in any area of the country. Be patient.

I'd say $55,000 is a VERY good price! You shouldn't have any problems selling it.
