Pay for low mileage, you will like the car more and enjoy it more and the price most likely won't be much different from the high miles car.I have seen high mileage cars, 96 gts 30,000 mile and up for the low 40's for 10k more you can get a low under 5k mileage car like brand new.Your the one that gets to make it used.

Jamie is right. The lower the mileage, the less time someone had to abuse it.
Of course, low mileage doesn't mean you don't thoroughly check it out. It could have been totaled the day it drove out of the dealership or poorly maintained over the last 5 years. I just think that when you're spending major dollars, that a new car feel should be part of the experience. Trust me, a low mileage 1996 GTS can still feel, look and smell new. |
