Upgrades? Massachusetts Upgrades?

I want to get some more HP and I see all you guys have upgrades like smooth tubes, cat backs, K&N filters, Borla. I want to know what is the best upgrades to get and where in massachusetts I can bring my car? Do I have to ship it out of state to get the best service? and would I be hurting the value of my 96 GTS with these upgrades? Any info would be apreciated, thanks

Ship your car to me...Myself and our small, but capable viper clan up here in Minnesota will bolt on all of the necassary mods, and then come spring, you can fly over, pick it up, and take a couple days to drive back to Mass...Leave a blank check in the drivers seat...Should be less than $10K...should be being the operative word. One question, how loud do ya want it?

Some of the NE boys will chime in and give you the best techs in your area, although Chuck Tator is SO good that many of the southern NE members drive down to South Salem NY for any serious work. Tubes and filter upgrades will NOT hurt the value, no question. Likely that a "known" exhaust system with HF cats will also not influence value (at least not negatively ). I'd hesitate to remove mufflers and/or cats if you are very concerned about keeping the car "near stock".

Bill- It depends a little on where you are in Mass. Herb Chambers Dodge-in Danvers. They sell Vipers and have a Viper tech. As far as modifications. You have to be more specific. Exhaust- A custom shop can install that. Smooth Tubes and filters- Dodge dealer. Rear end gears- Parts from Parts rack or Mopar Performance. Install at reputable Rear End Shop. Supercharge- Ship it.
