Would someone please post a picture of a gen1 throttle at WOT from a side and top angle? I did the synchronization with my wife and she pushed the pedal down as they clicked but I don't believe they are at WOT. I can push on them to make them go back further but there appears to be a spring mechanism that keeps moving them back a little. I'd like to validate with a picture.

http://www.viperclub.org/menus/index_how_illup.htm Use this link to tell you all you need to know about syncro'g your throttle bodies. It's what I used on my '94 and it worked perfectly.
What part of Michigan are you in? |

Scorch, I'm in Davisburg, near Clarkston. I have these instructions but am unclear exactly what I should be looking for when it says the metal blades should be against the throttle body. I'd love to see a picture, drawing or another car! Thanks, Craig

Hey Craig. I'll borrow my buddies digital and post a couple of pics. It might take me a few days.
Do you ever get down Shelby way? |

I work in Auburn Hills and I took the Viper to the Romeo Car Show a few weeks ago but that's about it. Is there anything going on in the area next week?

Nothing going on next week that I'm aware of. The Motor City Viper Owners don't have anything on their calendar either.
My wife and I are thinking about doing a color change drive in a couple of weeks. Might end up in your neck of the woods. Should be able to post the WOT pictures for you Saturday evening. How long have you owned your car? Any mods? (Mine is 100% factory original). |

Thanks...I got it in July with 800 miles...now has 1900. Car has everything original even down to air filters. I replaced battery even though it worked with an Optima and fluids.
I've got the brake fluid, trans fluid and diff fluid change coming up in the next week or two. I'm going to replace the sill insulation with Dan Cragin's kit. He told me to call him in October for price. I need to get rid of the rivits, VHT100 the sills and replace the mounting bolts with coated ones. If you haven't done this you should. Don't wait for the corrosion to ruin your rockers. Mine are fine now but I'm going to fix it before I have a 5K + problem. |

Just sent pictures to your e-mail. I don't know how to post pictures yet. Let me know if you still need more info.
Sorry it took so long for me to get them. |
