So we took a little test drive!
Today we finished installing my chrome smoothe tubes and K&N's-Thanks John B. So we took it for a spin, after the initall. The car ran rich and did not want to idle very smooth at all. After the car warmed up, I guess the computer learned that it was breathing a lot more air and finally compensated. On the 1st test drive he said lets open her up a little. I did not know that a little meant 152 mph (that was by GPS). He let go of the pedal at 150 on the dash. What a rush!!!!!
BTW---- Biff those Vipermania windows, with no top, stayed right in there the the whole ride. Chad  |

Do you think smooth tubes make the car idle a little rougher?
Mine seems to.    Too bad they're not chrome. |

They improved my idle. It made a noticable difference in throttle responce.
