My near patent status of removing the water:
Suck it out with your mouth. Neighbors find it a bit odd, but they just don't understand. |

I think my way is best!!
After washing and drying the car off, place the shammy in the area with the water letting it get absorbed while cleaning the rims. By the time you finish cleaning the rims its all absorbed. |

Reminds me of when I hear people that suck the snot out of their babies nose with their mouth. Alot of old school/grandparents do that. Now I know why I am not a parent. Sorry if I am getting off topic. On your question, I use a electric leaf blower on my car when drying.

Don't get water in there works best
A bucket,sponge,and the new microshammy= no excess water(don't use a hose!!) |

As for the dirt... the same thing would happen with towels or chamois'... if a piece of dirt gets stuck, get the Zaino out to buff that scratch |

YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!!! That is the most disgusting thing I've ever heard!!! Now.... Opening the hood works pretty well. You've got to do that anyway to clean the tops of the sidesills. I scratched the hell out of one of my Corvettes with that California squeegy thing! It went directly in the trash without passing go or collecting $200! |

After I shammy as much as I can I use a wet/dry vac to suck up the rest. I would not suggest using anything that blows(leaf blower, etc) ends up blowing all kinds dirt/dust particles in while blowing the water out.
