Default Door Hinges?

Are door hinges covered in warranty? I was having a problem when I was overseas with drivers door. Seemed it was rubbing on rubber when closing..If not, what is cost and is it easy to correct?

Should be covered by the basic 3/36 warranty. Not sure about extended plans. Sounds like a basic hinge adjustment, but be advised that your hinge is a single hinge unit, and is tricky to set up. Let the pros do it!

Yep, covered by 3/36 only, not extended.

Are you saying the stantion is rubbing the door seal? This is pretty common on Vipers. Where it rubs as you close the door.

Does it appear that the door is too far back or that the door sets too low?

If you want to do the repair yourself, I can go into more detail. To make the door perfect, plan on 1 to 4 hours.

Jerry-is this a fix without replacing the hinge? My door won't stay open and sags on my 97 GTS

My drivers side broke in August. It's a $180- part, maybe $150 or so from Tator's.
I guess that part is specific to the Viper and no other models?
Extended warranty will not cover it from what I have learned.
