I don't feel I have to justify anything but i'd like to comment a few (good) points.

First, I never wrote I NEED the money because I'm sick or whatever. I was always honest. The whole thing is not too serious and I hope you were able to smile when you read it.
When I see a pciture posted with two vipers in the garage I'm not jealous! I'm happy with what I have - we (family) are all healthy (besides some here will say I have a mental disorder , I have a job, we have food, clothes and we have a "shelter". This is far better than MOST people in the world. I will most like donate all the "collected" money to a charity anyway.

Best point in this whole thread. This was my main concern as well but I decided to leave it up to "you" to decide for yourself. As I mentioned, I will donate it to a charity if it does not go towards a viper. I guess the amount will not that be huge anyway so I will most likely donate it.
My suggestion is, the next time you go out just buy two drinks instead of three. Then donate the money you "saved" to a charity.

Again, I'm not gone justify it, but to me it looks like a few people here take it too serious. From reading the post you could get the impression that I don't work, I'm lazy, don't save and I would sell my testiçle or even worse my family to get a viper. This is so wrong. I do work (more than average), I do save (more than average), I love my family way more than cars.

Did I every said I'm looking for money for a good cause? NO, I just said that I'm not going to use the money for something else, I'd rather give it to a charity.

I'm going to buy a Viper, no matter what, and I never thought that this "donation" thing does work at all - I was curious if I would get some cash at all. I NEVER relied on it for my future plans. Maybe I havn't written it enough "ironicaly" but I thought you get the message.

To the Viperless community, I want to announce that I am going to start GIVING money to anyone who does not have enough money to buy a Viper.

NO this is NOT a joke. I wont however give this money to you if you are well off and live in a half a million dollar house.

Be forwarned though I will do all I can to research and see if you already own a Viper you are NOT eligible.

EVERY person I deem is deserving I will give you $50 NO strings attatched. I do indeed hope you put this towards purchasing a Viper but of course there is no way for me to make sure you do.

IF this is illegal in your state it is completely up to YOU to look into that as I do NOT want to break the law.

So anyone interested, and once again I am COMPLETELY serious, submit a 150 word essay on why I should give you $50 towards purchasing a Viper.

I think the idea Patrick has is actually a very smart idea and I give him credit for trying and hopefully he suceeds in getting his Viper or donating the money to a charity.

I do think however he should really earn this money on his own to really feel good knowing that he bought this monster and really earned it but I do give him credit for what he thought of.. pretty smart IMHO. =)
