GENI & II Vipers were not painted with Dupont.

All Vipers since 1992 were painted with Akzo Nobel except cars that were painted in the beginning of 1998 which were painted with PPG.

Sikkens is the retail equivalent of Akzo.

My '96 GTS needed a hood repair, covered by warranty. My shop shot almost 30 test panels with PPG and could not get a match. As soon as we switched to Sikkens...we got a perfect match.

I used Dupont to paint my side sills. If there's a difference you'd have to be a poser to tell. My Vipers are red, metallics might have different results.
