Not to sound too enthusiastic, but if I went, would it at all be possible to ride along on a race? Or is that kinda stuff NOT allowed?

Will there be a "place" for vipers that do not want to race ? Or is this a bring your 9 sec car or stay home kind of thing ?

For us road course guys that is a conflicting weekend, Viper Days at VIR.

All Vipers are welcome as are Vettes.
Racing is devided into four classes for all cars. The slowest class (if we can call it that) an 11.50 bottom. If you run low twelves, high elevens, this is your class! Spectators very welcome. Not sure of the parking facilities as I have not been there but I am sure you can park together if we get there around the same time. Sorry the is a conflict witht he road course guys  |

Parking there is good and the vipers should be able to park in one area if the trun out is not too big. One other conflict is that the Ohio VCA has an outing planned on the 17th. Maybe I will be able to do both.

Edgar, glad to see you took the time to post here. I have posted every event with little success. As in Maryland I expect thee will be plenty of space to circle the beast if they show up In Maryland it was hard to circle two Vipers. This is the only event I will miss all year and it's killing me. Unfortunately I have to be in Louisville, KY that weekend. Edgar, if another Vette guy needs to borrow a helmet to race, we still have lil Al's in the trailer.
Lastly, it looks like a Viper and Vette shootout in the Northeast late in the year too. Stay tuned. Happy racing. |
