O2 sims question - related to evap / HO2 question
So I'm having this weird emissions problem that I think is related to the O2 simulators I'm running...
I Replaced the battery on the car, but now need to get it tested for emissions. My OBDII shows EVAP SENSOR and O2 HEATER as "not ready". And I've put like 400 miles on the car and it still shows "not ready". Is it possible the O2 sims are the culprit here? Or is it possible that the car just hasn't been driven enough? I'm at a loss... and with an expired tag, I'd like to resolve this sooner than later. Thanks! JD |

Have you looked in the fascia to see if the evap sensor is unplugged ( I think it's in the fascia). I had similar problem with c/e light and one of the hoses came off for some reason.

No CE light so far... that is the weird thing. It just says "not ready". I'll check that just in case, but this is the weirdest thing. No CE light and no sign that anything is wrong... Except that the OBDII shows "NOT READY".
