Viper driver & passenger killed in crash yesterday
My prayes & condolences go out to the families of Craig Hrycenko & Brandon Hillman who were both killed yesterday when the 2002 Viper they were riding in went out of control & struck a tree on rt 30 in Esperance N.Y. All of you Viper owners out there BE CAREFUL !! It seems just when you think you have the car mastered & your driving confidence level is high it turns around & bites you !! Use your head when driving. This could happen to any one of us !!

So very very sad. My prayers go out to the familys. As has been said here, these cars are fantastic but can bite you even when you are expecting it. Does anyone know the folks involved? Were they VCA members?

I would not be too quick to judge the driver. We have no knowledge of why the accident occurred. It could have been equipment failure; avoidance of a person running into the road; debris in the road; an unexpected medical event - stroke, heart attack,etc; cut off by another vehicle; or a stone or some other object thrown through the windshield - among other possible reasons. G-d rest the souls of the driver and his passenger and comfort their surviving loved ones.
