Obviously i kow the VEC is the "macdaddy" but if i just need basic fuel tuning anyone have any downside to going with the s-afcII? or is the VECI better for any reason?
I did a search and only found a few people using the s-afcII |

Eric,
The VEC II by far is the best as you have direct control over timing and fuel -If you are forced induction than it's a must. Then the AFC is next best, gives you MAP sensor based fuel control vs RPM over 2 throttle ranges and has cool displays (I posted instructions on how to install this a few years ago). Don't bother with the VEC 1. good luck, Dave. |
