Default Kuhmo\'s sand blasting

Those running Kumhos, what all gets sand blasted other than the rear part of the side sill? What about the painted lip on the fender well and rear valence?

I recommend NOT running them on the front. In the rear, the painted lip, back end of the sill and the very lower part of the rear valance (well under the car). One of the worst parts..the black inner well ends up looking whitish. You can armorall it for temporary black, but it won't last.

I ran the Michelins Sport Cups up front and back and they blasted everything in the way of the tire wash. Not worth the added traction on the road courses. I took them off after two weeks and re-painted the side sills.

I have them on front and rear they sandblast inside the fender on both. On the rear they sandblast under the back bumper. On the front they will get your sidesills from time to time.

I think the performance is worth it though. Just my opinion. I will repaint and 3M them in the future. For now just touch up paint.

Is this post for running them at the track or around town?
Are they that sticky?
Thanks,
Robert

I'm going to run them on the rear for street tires. The pilots are horrible with my setup.

That is the tradeoff of running sticky tires. Will 3m film hold up to the heat of the side sills?
