Any ideas on how I can get that bulged out rubber on that one side (left) seated back in place?
I have whacked on it a couple of times on a padded surface with no avail. |

I had the same prob with my MGW knob. I was able to put my hand around the knob and while squeezing really hard, twist your hand. The rubber part turned and when it did, the bulge seated back into place. Make sure the shifter is installed on the car as tight as it will go when you try this. That way while you are twisting, only the rubber will move instead of the entire knob.
