Doing a brake job, need new rotors because mine are thinner than spec.
What are my replacement options? I found many on ebay with widely varying prices... I remember a post about whether these were good and some said they had used them without problems: Ebay Rotors 1 $349 Ebay Rotors 2 $179 Ebay Rotors 3 $185 Ebay Rotors 4 $229 It looks like Archer has stock replacement rotors for $149 each front and $110 each rear. Also found these: Alan's Perf Rotors These from EBC: EBC Rotors I'm also replacing the rear pads with EBC Greens to match the front pads that already have about 5,000 miles on them, should I replace the front pads when I replace the front rotor? You advice is appreciated... |

A few months ago I went with the slotted/drilled rotorworks rotors for around $350 for all four.

I also found replacement parts through Advance (Bendix rotors), any thoughts on those? I would expect they are the same as the OEM rotors and wouldn't be cheap, plus they have a warranty...

Last time I asked there were several people on this board that had low mileage rotors. Most were willing to sell for the cost of shipping.

I believe the stock rotors are something like $120 or less each, fwiw.

Well, I called Tator and he gave me the list prices and part numbers for the stock rotors. He said it wouldn't be worth buying from him because shipping would be high on 80 pounds worth of metal. I called my local dealer and they gave me the same discount on the stockers that Tator does, so I just bought them there...

Anyone have any thoughts on whether or not I should replace the front EBC Green pads (~80%+ remaining) since I'm replacing the rotors? I know the new ones come with a "break-in coating"...
