Well, thinking about what wax/polish I will use this year and thought I'd start another post .... anything new for 2006? Used Zaino last year and was thinking about Pinnacle this year. Time to go get a bucket of popcorn ....
Happy Easter - thank God spring has arrived! |

Actually Pinnacle over Zaino gives the best in durability and shine.

I'm not advertising this stuff guys, because frankly I'm a skeptic, has anyone ever tried what these guys here are saying is better than sliced bread? http://www.5starshine.com/index-np.html I'm not sure I believe a word of it!

i use liquid glasses version of the ptfe wax and it is the best. at least the best lasting i have ever used. way better than zaino. this one sounds very much like the same thing. so id guess its pretty good.

I used to use Liquid glass on my black 72 vette and you could see a mile deep but it did wear off relatively quickly. Just spoke with Steve from tropical and he is sending some samples to try.
Plum, is there a difference in Liquid Glasses products? Say one like your talking about that comes with the mysterious PTFE what ever that is. Thanks. |

I've been using the Menzerna FMJ wax, German stuff it's a synthetic that looks like an armored glass shell on the car, and is supposed to be very long lasting and durable. I've tried them all and keep moving around. Unfortunately my car now weighs 50 lbs more with all the wax on it...
Read about it here: http://store.yahoo.com/classic-motor...nzernafmj.html |

Learn how to polish the paint out first, then it won't really matter what you use!

DanAuito, YES big difference in them. the ptfe one lasts a real long time.
i wash my car everytime i drive it. from the time i put 5 coats of the ptfe wax on to now its gotta bea good 70-80 washes. there is no way any other wax would still look as good as it does. its the same as the day i put it on. but ya have to call them to get info and prices.. 201-387-6755 |
