I saw a guy today with the Nitto NT 555R drag radials and he was doing 1.7 60' times. Running 11.5s with only minor engine work. Has anyone tried this or know anything about them? Since Kumhos don't make 18s I figure these would be the replacements.
Thanks |

You can't compare the nitto's to kumho's. The nitto is a far better drag tire. The kumho is a better all around tire and very good track tire.

Awesome! Thanks for the input. They come in 18s for sure.

I don't know if Jon B has them. Should he not sell it, you can get them at Discount tires.

I had kumhos for 8,000 miles or so. They hooked great, only downside was the sandblasting in the fender wells. Now I run 345 BFG DRs...no complaints yet.

the kuhmo's sand blasted your fenders worse than the bfg's? i figured that the bfg's would blast them more since they are a softer compound. the bfg's blasted more of my fenders than the sport cups.
