Replacing AC Compressor
OK..compressor is bad..won't take a charge...got the thing unscrewed and unhooked.
HOW THE HELL do you get it out of the engine compartment?  I twist..tweak..swear..drink..cuss..and still nothing...It almost looks like I have to take loose a motor mount to get it out..there is just too much crap in the way and it won't get out of there.HELP!!!! Matt  |

haven't tried with motor in....but I would try to loosen motor mounts, raise drvr side of motor, then go for it. might be easier to drop out of the bottom with motor raised. If this won't work, I'll check the manual.

Ok patience is a virtue I guess...went back out and finally got it in just the right position that it dropped out bottom..new one in already now pan gasket and new belt..
