Default Removing adhesive......

OK.. so I had an installer put a piece of black vinyl striping on the top of the sport bar.. to protect the top of it from scratches from my old top.....

I took it off yesterday since I bought one of the 3-piece tops..... now I have adhesive residue on the top of the sport bar....

Anyone have any suggestions on what to use to remove this sticky residue...without damaging the paint??

Use Goo-Gone. Should be a regular cleaner product or may be in hardware stores.

Hope this helps,

Try baby oil. Seriously. Doesn't have any harsh chemicals and always seems to work.

I second the Goo-Gone. I have used it on everything, including the paint on my vehicles and have not experienced any ill effects.
