Default Oil Pan Bolts

I was inspecting the underside of the 94 RT10 and I noticed four (4) bolts missing and most of the other bolts loose. I ordered new bolts from Dodge. $11.85 each I bought the Viper about two weeks ago, milage is 17,200. I sugest everyone make this a part of routine maintance. Does anyone know the torque spec's for the oil pan bolts?

it's 95

I would suggest to take off the oil pan and get the ARP studs and use those. You can put more torque to keep the bolts from wiggling loose. Also becarful not to over torque the bolts....oil pan threads are easy to strip.

That is 95 INCH pounds! Not 95 FT LBS.

Gee thanks, now I won't be able to sleep tonight!

On second thought I'll just keep my eyes peeled on the gray garage floor paint for any evidence until she goes back up on the lift. Thanks for the heads up on another item to be aware of.

Not unusual at all. Every time I change my oil I make sure mine are all snug as they have also come loose over time.
